What CE documents are needed to import LED lighting into the EU?

EU imports generally need a CE declaration of conformity and EN 60598-series test reports, and we can assist in providing the required technical documents.

1. CE is a declaration, not a certificate

CE is a manufacturer's self-declaration of conformity, not a third-party certificate. The third-party certificate many buyers expect does not exist as a single official EU document.

2. Where EN 60598 fits

EN 60598 is the luminaire safety standard series, and its test reports are the technical evidence behind the declaration. We can assist in providing EN 60598 test reports for the models you order, confirmed in writing before ordering.

3. Who is responsible

The importer placing goods on the EU market carries the compliance obligations. We do not claim any certification, and final acceptance is subject to EU market surveillance and customs review.

For an EU project, send us the model list or contact us on WhatsApp and we will confirm which documents we can assist with.
